Distance education is rapidly changing due to changes in technology and the recent migration to synchronous distance education because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Appraiser Qualifications Board listened to discussions from Professional Society Education Providers, Proprietary Education Providers, and Regulators/Certifiers to learn more, and whether there are needed edits to the distance education requirements in the Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria (Criteria).
